Katie sent these pics of her most recent job out west - yup a smoke jumper - she fought forest fires for two years, now she lives in the lake placid area and works part time as a forest ranger and works for EMS and she tells me she went skiing 115 days this winter - you have it rough Katie -

What an exciting job you must have! My new job is quite tame in comparison but I really am enjoying the school vacations, as our my kids.
