a few months ago our gym was officially named after Hal Gillette and Louise Saunders - these two people did so much for the students of Potsdam High in not just sports but in life it self . They both made us all strive to do better in life and as for me , Hal was one teacher that will never be forgotten , the stories i have listened to for the last 20 years in the Barber Shop about him makes me glad to have known him and to say that he was my father's gym teacher in 1962 and he was also my teacher in 1988 . Hal you will always be remembered .
Louise Saunders - i can say that i remember her helping me with my knee problem in 11th grade . She found a brace for it , which helped me out alot . Thanks Mrs. Saunders .
Here is What the outside looks like with the letters . All the money for the letters was donated by individuals that remembered and care about these Two Great People that Potsdam High School gave us
